Welcome to Niner Driving School. By booking and attending lessons with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure you understand your rights and obligations.
1. Payment Terms
- Advance Payment: All driving lessons must be paid in advance. Payment can be made via our online booking system, by bank transfer, or in person by prior arrangement.
- Lesson Packages: If you purchase a block of lessons, full payment is required before the first lesson. The date of your first lesson will confirm the start of your package.
2. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Notice Requirement: We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the loss of the lesson fee. This policy is in place to ensure that our instructors’ time is respected and that other students have the opportunity to book lessons.
- No-Shows: If you fail to attend a lesson without providing the required notice, the lesson will be forfeited, and you will not be entitled to a refund or reschedule.
3. Validity of Pre-Paid Lessons
- Lesson Expiry: All pre-paid tuition must be used within twelve months of the purchase date. It is your responsibility to ensure that lessons are scheduled and attended within this period. Lessons not used within the twelve-month period will expire, and no refunds will be issued for unused lessons.
- Refund Policy: No refunds will be given after six months from the purchase date of any pre-paid lesson packages. Refund requests made within six months will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to a processing fee.
4. Instructor Availability
- Instructor Assignment: While we strive to provide consistency by assigning you the same instructor throughout your lessons, this may not always be possible due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event that your instructor is unavailable, we will do our best to offer you an alternative instructor or reschedule your lesson at a mutually convenient time.
- Lesson Duration: Each lesson will last the agreed duration, typically one or two hours, depending on the package chosen. Please be punctual, as any time lost due to late arrival will not be compensated.
5. Driving License Requirements
- Valid License: All students must hold a valid UK provisional driving license, which must be presented at the first lesson. If you fail to present a valid license, the lesson will be cancelled, and the fee will be forfeited.
- Legal Compliance: Students are required to comply with all UK driving laws during lessons. Any illegal activity will result in the immediate termination of the lesson, with no refund provided.
6. Safety and Conduct
- Vehicle Safety: Our vehicles are regularly maintained and insured for driving instruction purposes. However, in the unlikely event of a mechanical issue, your lesson may need to be rescheduled.
- Student Conduct: We expect all students to behave respectfully towards their instructor and follow their guidance during lessons. Any form of abusive behaviour or misconduct will result in the immediate termination of the lesson, and no refund will be provided.
7. Changes to Terms and Conditions
- Policy Updates: Niner Driving School reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you in advance, and the updated terms will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services will be deemed acceptance of the revised terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Personal Liability: Niner Driving School and its instructors are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during lessons, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
- Insurance: All instructors carry the necessary insurance for driving tuition. However, students must understand that they are responsible for any damage or injury caused by their actions if they do not follow the instructor’s directions.
